Although I booked my tickets well in advance - I had to collect them from Cardiff on my first day.

Rally was not as enjoyable this year. You book a stage (but not a car park) so viewing is haphazard. I did not get close to one downhill hairpin !

Many of the old viewing areas were no go this year. This took swathes of viewing away. Therefore the viewing areas were often 3/4/5 deep. It also meant if a driver had an off - with no fans or marshals around, they were stuck. Walters Arena - the view was far too distant.

Overall the rally this year seemed to lack atmosphere and many fans were undecided if to return next.
