| If you
order your tickets via the telephone hotline or online on or after Monday
27th October 2003, your tickets will not be posted to you, as
the organisers cannot guarantee delivery before your departure for the Rally.
Instead, you will need to collect your tickets from the ticket collection
point in front of Cardiff City Hall from 4th November 2003 onwards. Your tickets will be dispatched in a plain envelope with no logos for security reasons via Royal Mail Special Delivery, the cost of which is included in the transaction processing fee. The official site says that "You will receive your tickets within 14 days of placing your order to a maximum of 21 days, whether you order online or on the telephone hotline." I hope this is true for all spectators, because in 2002 so many had problems with the despatch of tickets. Many fans had ordered their tickets in plenty of time, but had to collect them from Cardiff just before the event. Have a read of this from the Rally Stories section, to hear an example. So far, so good though is what I hear from the various rally forums. I bought my own tickets on a Sunday evening and they arrived at my home the following Tuesday morning, which is very impressive. |
