Many spectators were disappointed, disillusioned and upset by the ticketing situation at the 2002 event, but we are told that in 2003 the organisation of the tickets will be dramatically improved. So far, I have mainly heard good stories. When I booked my tickets, the member of staff on the 'phone was very knowledgeable, very efficient and made the whole process relatively simple - even though the tickets I bought were not straight-forward. I ordered them on a Sunday evening, and they were delivered to my home the following Tuesday morning. Very impressive ! The range and price of tickets has already lost the event lots of fans, so maybe if these improvements continue this year they will all come back. The official site says there are more choice of tickets available, and the ticketing system "provides the best views, access and parking, whilst ensuring the safety of spectators".
